Sitakunda Upazila is an industries-rich Upazila under Chittagong District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is located at 22°37′ North and 91°39.7′ East. It is bounded by is bounded by Mirsharai on the north, Pahartali on the south, Fatikchhari, Hathazari and Panchlaish on the east, Sandwip and Sandwip channel on the west. Sitakunda is one of the ancient sites of human habitation in Bangladesh. Though it is primarily an agricultural area, it has the largest ship breaking industry in the world.
