Feni Sadar
Feni Sadar is an Upazila under Feni District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is located at 23.0167° North 91.3917° East. It is bounded by Chauddagram, Tripura, Parshuram and Chhagalnaiya on the north, Sonagazi and Mirsharai on the south, Chhagalnaiya on the east, and Daganbhuiyan on the west. Feni Sadar has a rich history. Historians assume that first human civilization started here between 1000 and 1400. At ancient times, this area was under Samatat. In 1876, British government constituted Feni Mohokuma for administrative benefits. Today’s Feni Sadar Upazila was a part of that Feni Mohokuma and this Feni Mohokuma was integrated to Noakhali at that time.
