Comilla Sadar South
Comilla Sadar South is an Upazila of Comilla District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is bounded by Adarsa Sadar on the north, Laksham, Chauddagram and Nangolkot on the south, Tripura on the east, Barua and Laksam on the west. During Mughal and Tripura, this area was part of Meherkul, Hasnabad, Homnabad, etc. Later on these areas became Comilla Sadar South Mohokuma in British period. The center of Sadar South Mohokuma was today’s Comilla Sadar Upazila. In 2005, Comilla Sadar South got recognized as upazila.
