Chhagalnaiya Upazila is an Upazila of Feni District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Its located at 23.0361° North 91.5194° East. It is bounded by Parshuram on the north, Mirsharai on the south, Tripura on the east, and Feni sadar on the west. It is believed that Chhagalnaiya is derived from Sagarnaiya or ‘sea-sailor’ as many people from this area used to go to the sea to make their living as fishermen in large sampan boats.
