Chandina Upazila is an Upazila belongs to Comilla District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is located at 23.4833° North 91.0083° East. It is bounded by Daudkandi, Muradnagar and Debidwar on the north, Barura and Kachua on the south, Burichang and Barura on the east, Daudkandi and Kachua on the west. In British period, today’s Chandina and Barua were under Chandina thana. Between 1930 and 1940, Barua thana was established with 9 unions and Chandina thana was established with 7 unions. During major setup of upazlilas in Bangladesh in 1983, this Chandina thana was turned into Chandina upazila.
